A Cheat-sheet for Rocking NerdiCon 2016
NerdiCon is happening at 7PM on Friday, July 15, at the Centralia Library, but what, exactly, do you need to know to rock the event and own your inner nerd?
Well, for starters, make sure your cosplay costume is on point!
There will be a competition (with prizes) for teens with the best cosplay outfits, so go all out. Seriously. This is your time to let your inner fangirl or fanboy free and own those fandoms you've secretly (or not so secretly) aligned with.
Also, bring your friends. Like, all of them. The event is open to teens throughout Lewis County, and since everything is better when you're surrounded by your besties, bring your BFFs and your BFFs' BFFs. There will be video games, a comic book artist and a makeup artist, a photo booth and more! And best of all, all fandoms are welcome. Mix and match your costumes. Do a group cosplay. Represent. The entire event is free, so you get all of the fun completely gratis.
Stop by the Chehalis or Centralia Libraries to pick up a brochure, and be sure to ask staff members if you want more information.
